This is the official second wine of Château Ducru‑Beaucaillou, created in 1995 from younger-vines, and has achieved a great reputation for itself.
The 2020 vintage is an outstanding vintage.
In this vintage, the yields were lower, berries highly concentrated, with vibrant acidity and polished tannins.
The style when compared is reminiscent of the classic 2010 vintage, but with even greater density and freshness.
