Ratings: 4.4 on VIVINO

Château Gruaud Larose, one of the iconic Second Growths from the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, stands as a benchmark for Saint-Julien's balance of power and elegance. Known as the "King of Wines," this historic estate consistently produces exceptional wines.

The 1989 vintage is one of the greatest Bordeaux vintages known for its reputation for quality and aging potential.

Deep garnet hue with a brick rim. Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and cedar blend with truffle and tobacco. The palate is full-bodied with velvety tannins, offering dark fruit, cassis, and cocoa, finishing long with smoky and earthy nuances.

Pair with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, or duck breast. It also complements earthy dishes like mushroom risotto or truffle pasta, and aged cheeses such as Gouda or Parmesan, enhancing the wine’s complexity and elegance.

A unique opportunity to taste one of the greatest vintages of the 80s, after 1982, to experience the matured flavors.

That too at a wonderful price!
