INDRA'S NOTE: The 2004 reds are drinking beautifully today. Backed by Pessac-Léognan’s gravel-rich, perfectly drained terroir, this vintage side-stepped Left Bank rain challenges. It delivers stunning structure, finesse, and matured notes of blackcurrant, smoky tobacco, and graphite at an exceptional value.
FOOD PAIRING: Pairs exquisitely with classic roasted rack of lamb, wild mushroom risotto, truffle-infused dishes, and premium aged cheeses like Comté or Gruyère.

Grape: Merlot 55%, Cabernet Sauvignon 42% and Cabernet Franc 3%.
Ratings: 4.4 on VIVINO
This legendary Grand Cru Classé perfectly mirrors the prestige of its sibling estate, Château Haut-Brion.
Uniting centuries of viticultural history under Domaine Clarence Dillon ownership, this gracefully matured 2004 vintage beautifully showcases its Pessac-Léognan heritage.
Benefiting from gravel-rich soils and exceptional natural drainage, the estate expertly bypassed the challenging Left Bank weather of this vintage.
It reveals a deep garnet core with a sophisticated brick-tinged rim. On the palate, a medium-to-full body seamlessly integrates fine, structured tannins with vibrant acidity.
Matured notes of blackcurrant, dark plum, and blackberry are enhanced by complex layers of cedar, smoky tobacco, graphite, and mineral truffle.
The finish is remarkably long, clean, and expressive, offering an exceptional value look at a library-aged Bordeaux classic.
