Founded in 1815, Château Montrose is renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and terroir-driven wines.
In 1855 it was classified into the second growth of the Bordeaux 1855 Classification.
It is very prestigious winery, making premium, powerful left bank Bordeaux wine until today.
Wine collectors have always been big fans of this wine.
On the nose, it offers captivating aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, and subtle cedar, intertwined with hints of earth and spice. The palate reveals a velvety texture with layers of dark fruit, tobacco, and finely integrated tannins, leading to a long, complex finish that speaks to its aging potential.
