Steeped in history, Château Pontet-Canet is a 5th Growth in 1855 Classification, with a legacy dating back to the 18th century. 

Originally founded by Jean-François de Pontet.

Today, under the visionary leadership of the Tesseron family, Pontet-Canet has become a top class winery that is continue to improve its quality of wines.

Bouquet of redcurrant, black cherry, and crushed raspberry, complemented by hints of violets, graphite, and a touch of oak spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, delivering a harmonious balance of fresh fruit, vibrant acidity, and a refined minerality. The finish is elegant and persistent, revealing the wine’s poise and subtle complexity.

Pair with roasted duck breast, grilled lamb chops, or seared venison. Its bright acidity and elegant structure also complement dishes like mushroom ravioli, ratatouille, or semi-hard cheeses like Gruyère and Morbier.
