Domaine Robert Groffier stands among Burgundy’s premier, most esteemed family estates. Founded in the 19th century by Frédéric Groffier, the domaine expanded in the 1930s when his son Jules acquired core vineyard parcels.
Robert Groffier later established estate bottling, and today, grandson Nicolas Groffier directs winemaking and viticulture, driving quality to world-class heights.
The legendary Clos de Bèze vineyard carries deep monastic heritage. First planted around 630 A.D. by monks from the Abbey of Bèze, it represents one of the oldest recorded vineyards in Burgundy and France.
This exceptional Grand Cru seamlessly unites the muscular, broad structure of Gevrey-Chambertin with Groffier’s signature silky mouthfeel, vibrant whole-cluster freshness, and remarkable cellaring potential.
Purity of fruit and profound terroir expression define every layer of this distinguished wine.
