Founded in 1932, Bodegas Muga is one of Rioja’s most esteemed family-run wineries, known for its meticulous winemaking and commitment to traditional techniques.
The Flor de Muga Blanco is a rare white Rioja crafted from old-vine Viura, Garnacha Blanca, and Maturana Blanca, sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Rioja Alta.
Fermented and aged in French oak, it exemplifies the elegance and complexity of premium white Rioja.
Aged for 6 months in French oak.
Aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, and ripe orchard fruits, with hints of vanilla and toasted almonds from barrel aging. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with a creamy texture, balanced acidity, and a lingering mineral-driven finish.
It will pair beautifully with seafood, such as grilled turbot or prawns, as well as creamy risottos and roasted poultry, and also aged Manchego or soft goat cheese.
