The Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva 2016 is a distinguished red wine from the renowned Bodegas Muga in Rioja, Spain. This vintage exemplifies the winery's commitment to traditional winemaking techniques and exceptional quality.
The grapes are sourced from Muga’s top vineyards in the cooler zones of northwest Rioja Alta, situated at elevations between 550 and 600 meters above sea level with south facing slopes.
Aged for 36 months ageing in French- and American-oak casks. Then additional 36 months in order to complete the ageing in the bottle before finally being released.
The 2016 Prado Enea Gran Reserva displays a black-cherry color with medium depth. On the nose, it offers an elegant array of forest fruits like blackberries, accompanied by spices such as cloves and cinnamon. The palate reveals a silky-smooth entry with medium body and a prolonged, pleasant finish. Velvety tannins harmonize with fresh, well-integrated acidity, while creamy vanilla notes intermingle with fresh fruit flavors.
