This is a right bank Bordeaux style wine that is similar to a Saint-Emilion wines. It comes from the village of Castillon.
The wines of Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux are leaning towards fruity and structured profiles, with notes of dark fruits and sometimes subtle oak influence. Therefore the wines can be appreciated by most people, and yet satisfy the Bordeaux wine lovers too.
