This is one of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, dating back to the 16th century.

The Chateau follows the traditional and classic wine making style for Chateauneuf-du-Pape, emphasizing terroir expression and the use of large oak barrels (foudres).

This wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels.

Chateau La Nerthe is highly respected and admired for the ability for its wine for ageability and to taste complex and premium.
