This wine is made from the grape Garnacha Tintorera which is known in France as Alicante Bouschet.
It is a grape that makes wines with deep color, delicious intense black fruit flavors, seductive and captivates wine lovers.
The region of Almansa in Spain is very good at making high quality wines from this grape and is well known among wine critics as a leading region for Garnacha Tintorera.
The Almansa region also has an added advantage of being high altitude, about 700 metres to 1100 metres above sea level.
This wine has been aged in French oak barrels for about 8 months.
