It is produced in a typical Left Bank style, with dominating grape being the Cabernet Sauvignon.
Chateau Beychevelle has a spectacular history.
The château has been in the hands of several powerful families, influential in the economic, political, and cultural life of the Bordeaux area.
Even though this is a 3rd wine from Chateau Beychevelle, this comes from its own vineyard which is in the Haut-Médoc appellation.
The vineyard has been managed organically since 2008.
