This is a premium sparkling wine made in the Champagne Method often called 'Metodo Classico'.
Aged for 24 months on the lees, which provides the complexity that usually is also found in Champagne.
Lombardy is the region which is known to produce the "Champagne of Italy".
Since the label champagne can only be used if these sparkling wines are made in the region of Champagne of France, so countries like outside of France, use the word 'Metodo Classico' to indicate that the sparkling wine is made using the Champagne Method.
This champagne method bubbly from Italy would be a great experience to try out and learn more about bubblies other than just champagne.
