The 2019 Burgundy red vintages turned out to be one of the best vintages that showcase fresh yet concentrated flavors, vibrant fruit, fine tannins, and notable minerality.
This wine is made from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Fichots in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses.
Aged 12 months in oak barrels.
Expect bright red fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, complemented by floral hints and a touch of spice. The palate will be fresh and structured, with silky tannins and a mineral-driven finish reflecting the vineyard’s terroir.
This wine will pair beautifully with roast duck, grilled lamb, or mushroom risotto. Its bright acidity and refined tannins also complement aged cheeses like Comté or Gruyère.
