This a top class Premium Pinot Grigio, made with the same style as a fine wine would be made.
The result is a Complex Pinot Grigio that will shock and surprise even the seasoned white wine drinkers, making them feel proud of a new discovery.
The wine has been aged on the lees for 30 months in different staged, such as during the fermentation in barrel then during the resting stage in tanks.
All the while for about 3 months a technique called Batonage, a French word to mean stirring of the lees has been performed, This allows for futher richness of the wine, more complexity to be achieved.
Grapes are from a Single Vineyard, called Pozzut.
Scarbolo is a very respected family winery specializing in the grave region of Friuli, and they are experts at making high-end Pinot Grigio.
