The Pinot Noir from Pommard Village is known to be a Pinot Noir that is muscular, with good amount of tannins, which make them a powerful wine. So this style of Pinot Noir is great to enjoy usually when you only having just 1 bottle of red wine, or you are starting with a lighter Pinot Noir, then you move on to the Pommard.
Olivier Leflaive winery which is also founded by the Mr Olivier Leflaive, is the cousin of the Ms Anne Claude Leflaive, who owned one of Burgundy's most renowned winery called Domaine Leflaive. Both Mr Olivier and Ms Anne, are truly the gems of Burgundy, caretakers of what nature has provided to them in terms of the vineyards.
Aged for about 12 months in Oak Barrels.
