This is Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, which is quality level above the Saint-Emilion.
This winery enjoys the same privileged situation and standards of excellence as its renowned and popular neighbours Château Laroque or Château Pavie, and the same meticulous care is also taken in its winemaking.
Vine plots are located as follows: 2 ha along and near the Château Troplong Mondot , 1 ha with the same exposure as Château Pavie and 3 ha on the south facing slopes.
Aged in French oak barrels. New barrels are 30%.
A ripe juicy delicious wine that has good amount of tannin structure that keeps it aging.
