ABOUT THE WINES
SASSICAIA is historically the first Super Tuscan to be released in the market. It was the the 1968 vintage that was the first vintage released as a Super Tuscan.
Aged in American Oak Barrels for 20 to 25 months.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
Since 1994, Sassicaia wine has been granted its own DOC status called the Sassicaia Bolgheri DOC.
GUIDALBERTO has built itself a reputation for being the 2nd wine of the winery that produces their 1st wine called Sassicaia. The winery is Tenuta San Guido.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
You will have two vintages of Guidalberto 2020 and 2021, both were very good vintages. So there can be comparison made between which of the vintages you prefer.
