Murtas is made by the winery Fattoria San Michele a Torri, which is a very dedicated winery for making wines sustainbly.
This is Super Tuscan wine, which means it uses Bordeaux Grape varieties in its blend.
Super Tuscan are well renowned for their great longevity and complex flavors.
This wine is aged for 18 months in oak.
Great for pairing with T-Bone Steaks, Wagyu and Baby Lamb Rack.
As described by the winery:
"The tannins add more softness by polymerizing and leaving the wine with all of its force. In fact it maintains its freshness even after many years, demonstrating rich aromas and maintaining a color full of life. It is a wonderful surprise for those who do not know this wine already."
