Grape: Tempranillo 100%
This wine is made from 100% Tempranillo from a single vineyard named “Finca Los Juncares” in La Mancha Region, situated at an altitude of 660 meters, in extremely sandy soil. The resulting wine is is very ripe juicy rich black fruit flavors, so really delicious if you are looking for lots of fruit flavors, and great to pear with roasted meat, beef, lamb and also barbecued food.
Aged for 15 months in French Oak Barrels and bottled unfiltered.
Bodegas Volver was founded in 2004 by Rafael Cañizares, enologist through studies and viticulturist through his family tradition of four generations bound to the vine and wine. His focus is on repositioning of quality Spanish wines and recovering old indigenous vineyards which, either through low production or lack of generational succession, had been lost.
