This is a Village quality level wine of wine from the village of Puligny-Montrachet in the region of Burgundy. The name Puligny derives from "Pul", which means marsh. Puligny is on small pockets of water which prevent building of underground cellars.

The wines from Puligny-Montrachet and its Premiers Crus can be explained that they are concentrated and minerally structured with lots if complexity and long finishing.

They are known to be some of the world's greatest Chardonnays especially with the Premier Cru and Grand Cru, which we need to enjoy among the best of friends.

This wine has been aged for about 12 months in French Oak Barrels.
