Ratings: 4.2 on VIVINO

This is a distinguished Chateau in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, boasts a rich history dating back to the early 18th century.

In 1833, Baron Hector de Brane, known as the "Napoléon of the Vines," acquired the estate.

He sold Château Brane-Mouton, now known as Chateau Mouton Rothschild, to be able to raise funds to acquire this property known as Chateau Brane Cantenac.

Today, Château Brane-Cantenac is owned by the Lurton family, one of Bordeaux's most influential winemaking families.

This property is classified as 2nd Growth in the famous and prestigious 1855 Classification of Bordeaux.

It will pair beautifully with dishes such as grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, or venison, which complement its rich flavors and structure. Additionally, it can be enjoyed with aged cheeses or hearty mushroom-based dishes, enhancing the wine's complexity and depth.
