Margaux, Bordeaux, France

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (28%) and Cabernet Franc (2%).

Ratings: 4.2 on VIVINO

This is a distinguished Chateau in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, boasts a rich history dating back to the early 18th century.

This chateau is owned by the Lurton Family, who also own other well known Bordeaux Chateau, such as Chateau Durfort-Vivens for example.

Expect aromas of black fruit, licorice, eucalyptus, and leather leads to an elegant palate with good volume and fullness. The round mid-palate has integrated tannins, finishing moderately long with smoky notes. The wine is matured for 16 years so expect some tertiary flavors of leather and earth.

It will pair beautifully with dishes such as grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, or venison, which complement its rich flavors and structure. Additionally, it can be enjoyed with aged cheeses or hearty mushroom-based dishes, enhancing the wine's complexity and depth.
